Hi, I'm Ana Maria, a multidisciplinary designer working across product design, branding and visual storytelling.
My creative journey has never followed a straight line. It began with a bachelor's degree in History, where I developed a fascination for storytelling, culture and human behaviour. From there, I moved into fashion design, sharpening my visual eye and exploring how aesthetics shape perception, before specialising in trend forecasting, where research, intuition and strategic thinking came together.
Over the past decade, I've worked across branding, visual communication and product development. Looking back, each chapter has taught me to approach design from a different perspective, and together they continue to shape the way I think, create and solve problems today.
What drew me to product design was the opportunity to bring together all of those disciplines.
History taught me to understand context. Fashion trained my visual eye. Trend forecasting showed me how research and intuition can work side by side. Today, those experiences inform the way I design products, build brands and create visual experiences.
I believe thoughtful design happens when research, strategy and visual craft work together. Whether I'm designing interfaces, building visual systems or shaping a product's identity, my goal is always to create work that feels intuitive, purposeful and memorable.
I'm at my best when research, strategy and visual thinking become one.
I'm particularly interested in translating complex ideas into clear experiences, crafting interfaces with strong visual identities, and designing products that feel considered from the first interaction to the smallest detail.
