This is the final project I developed for my Associate's Fashion Design Degree at SENAC in Rio Grande do Sul, presented in July 2019.
I drew inspiration from the first season of "Drive to Survive," a Netflix series that explores the lives of Formula 1 race drivers. My creative process involved incorporating various elements from F1 racing, such as the curves of the racetrack, the checkered flag, and the vintage overalls and uniforms worn by legendary drivers like Ayrton Senna, James Hunt, and Niki Lauda.
Using these elements, I designed a completely new collection for the Brazilian streetwear brand À La Garçonne, with a color palette inspired by the Scuderia Haas 2018 color scheme.
I developed the entire collection by myself, which included conceptualization, sketching, pattern making, prototyping, sewing, and creative direction for the final photoshoot.
